The Asia International Piano Festival by People with Disabilities in OSAKA 2011

Theme

The set piece is "Furusato (My hometown)" which is a Japanese folk song, and participants must play their own arrangements in 4 minutes. If the arrangements are not made by the participants themselves, the arrangement must be made only for the particular participants.

This melody of "Furusato" (hometown) is a folk song that Japanese love most.

Also, to encourage the victims of the Tohoku earthquake, the song is often sung.

It is possible to hear it easily on the internet.
